Tucson is the second-largest city in Arizona and is located in the Sonoran Desert, about 100 miles south of Phoenix. Tucson is a major university town, home to the University of Arizona. The city is also known for its vibrant arts scene, its Mexican-American culture, and its proximity to Saguaro National Park. Saguaro National Park is home to two groves of giant saguaro cacti, which are the largest cacti in the United States. Tucson is also home to a number of other attractions, including the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the Tucson Museum of Art, and the Pima Air & Space Museum.
